Orthodox London has a small reading group with two purposes: 1) to read, discuss and share our thoughts and beliefs and 2) to meet together in a cozy, relaxed environment.
The themes this reading group focuses on are systematic theology, history of religion and patristic theology. The aim of the readings and discussions should be that of exploring Christianity together and the wider context of religion.
We will try to meet once a week. We shall do the reading together during the meetings, no reading (preparation) before the meeting is required. Hopefully the readings will generate interesting questions and insightful brainstorms.
If you are attending it is not necessary for you to own the book we are reading, we’ll make sure to have enough copies of the text at every meeting.
Next Meeting Tuesday 11th October 2014- 7pmish
Check out the Facebook page or contact us for location details (private house N19 and, if possible, with a priest present)
